Camtasia for Mac: Screen Recording
Would you like to share high-quality screen recordings online? Maybe you're an instructor who would like to record a PowerPoint presentatin and deliver via Blackboard. Or maybe you're updating your personal website and would like to share a software tutorial online. Screen recording can be an effective way to communicate any number of concepts with video.
Camtasia for Mac is a robust, yet easy-to-use, screen recorder and editor. Each workstation in the Budig Ten: Media Production Studio space has the software avaiable. And in this 90-minute workshop, we'll introduce features, workflows and best practices that will enable you to record and edit effective videos.
(The Windows version of Camtasia is fundamentally the same as the Mac version, with some extended features. If you'd like to participate in this workshop, most all concepts transfer completely when you use the Windows version. That said, we only have licenses for the Mac version in our studio space - workstations that are not only available to you during this workshop, but also whenever the Budig lab is open - so we'll be working in the Mac software only.)
