SoftChalk Create

Overview:

Softchalk Create is a powerful lesson creation tool that is as easy to use as a word processor. Softchalk lessons may include text, pictures, media, and interactive elements such as practice exercises and assessments. Exported lessons are web pages for posting on the Internet or for use in Blackboard. LessonBuilder is free to download for KU users here.

Workshop Objectives:

By the end of this workshop, attendees will be able to:

  • Create a SoftChalk lesson
  • Incorporate pictures, media, QuizPoppers and Activities in a SoftChalk lesson
  • Save a SoftChalk lesson to Blackboard
  • Edit an existing SoftChalk lesson
  • Establish best practices for student participation
  • Locate the KU IT webpage where SoftChalk can be downloaded
